Female Vocalists of Metal and Rock was born during the 2020 pandemic to ease the boredom during periods of furlough. Since then it has gown from a hobby to pass the time of day into a full time obsession in the passionate pursuit of discovering unknown and rising bands with female vocalists across the full spectrum of different metal and rock genres.

After six years of running the FVOMAR Facebook community, writing album reviews for Female Fronted Power and Metal Epidemic health issues have recently forced me to quit my life long occupation as an engineer and seek a new direction in my life.

Hence, I have decided to do something really positive with my new found free time and turn my obsession with Metal and Rock music into a fledgling career.

The aim is use all the experience and knowledge I have acquired over the past six years to create a brand where the goal is simple.

FVOMAR’s mission is to promote, grow support and help talented rising bands with female vocalists who may otherwise fly under the radar to achieve their full potential. With over 25K views per month across all of our socials we are promoting to an ever growing worldwide audience. Come and join us!
