Born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, in 1991, Bonny Eguigure has been captivated by the beauty and expressiveness of the human voice since childhood. Her path into rock and metal began at 14, when she discovered Nightwish and was inspired by the fusion of heavy music and classical singing. She began recording her own versions of songs by Nightwish, Evanescence and Within Temptation as a teenager.

Her interest in classical singing led her to study music theory and solfège in 2013 and later join the soprano section of the classical choir Voces Aureae in 2018.

In 2021, Bonny began classical vocal studies at Bel Canto Ópera Studio under tenor and teacher Juan José Micheletti. That same year, she became one of the founding members and choristers of the Honduran Youth Choir. Her training also includes a masterclass with Italian soprano Francesca Lombardi Mazzulli.

Bonny is a light lyric soprano with a vocal range from F3 to D6. While classically trained, she also embraces the intensity of rock and extreme metal, moving between clean, lyrical vocals and screams and growls.

Her connection to the Honduran metal scene includes vocal contributions to two songs by Honduran band Xibalba, as well as interviews and media appearances. Her vocal covers have also been premiered on Honduras’ National Rock & Pop Radio.
