Formed in 2018 in Raleigh, North Carolina, CRIMSON STEEL channels the spirit of heavy metal’s most revered architects, drawing inspiration from legends such as Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Savatage, Crimson Glory, and Queensrÿche. The result is a sound that honors tradition while forging its own path—classic, commanding, and unmistakably powerful. Rooted in traditional heavy metal and sharpened with a progressive edge, the band continues to captivate audiences with high-intensity performances and uncompromising musicianship.
The lineup features founder and bassist Joel McGee, known for his driving fingerstyle technique and crushing low-end authority. Singer Tina Langevin commands the stage with an expansive range, delivering clean melodic passages, aggressive intensity, and nostalgic metal screams. Guitarist David Ryan, who brings technical precision and creative versatility—from virtuosic solos to classical interludes—is joined by drummer Will Adkins, completing the lineup with dynamic attack, intricate percussive work, and driving rhythms that fuel the band’s relentless momentum.

CRIMSON STEEL’s highly anticipated full-length album, “Show No Fear”, will be released on CD in the spring of 2026 exclusively through Heaven and Hell Records. A vinyl release is planned to follow sometime later this year.
“Show No Fear” showcases the band’s impactful influences of traditional metal—from soaring, high-impact vocals and virtuosic guitar work to thunderous bass lines and precision-driven percussion.
The album also features a special guest appearance on the track ‘Bleed into One’, pairing singer Tina Langevin with one of metal’s most influential and iconic voices, the legendary James Rivera (Helstar, Flotsam and Jetsam, Vicious Rumors, Seven Witches) for a powerful and dramatic duet destined to become a staple of the traditional metal repertoire.
