"An expressionless face with artistic expression as the medium of choice. deadpan is a darkly inclined, passionate, and unapologetic artist who oscillates between the U.S. and Seoul, South Korea. Inspired by goth rock, post-punk, metal, darkwave, EBM, Industrial, and other alternative genres, deadpan's music exists for people who express themselves through creativity instead of conformity. deadpan’s music journey began very young.

She was into the arts and writing from a young age, joining school choirs, and performing on stage. She fell into the goth scene naturally, always holding leftist ideologies, preferring to stand out, and go against the norms. Fashion is also a huge aspect of her creative journey and brand. She studied abroad in Seoul  at Seoul Women’s University, recorded song covers in her dorm room, and posted them to her YouTube channel. On April 16th, 2026, deadpan’s debut single “Pain in Vain”, a deathrock track, was her first ever professional, self-produced song, that received lots of praise from her peers within the goth community.

The process of creating it motivated her to pursue music, not just as a hobby, but seriously and make her mark on the alternative scene in her home base of Atlanta, Georgia. She aims to further her career by advocating for marginalized communities, bringing awareness to social issues, and fighting for change through her music. Her fandom name is deadfans."
