"Liverpool has a knack for producing bands that refuse to blend into the background, and new four-piece Dropstitch are no exception." - Broken 8
Dropstitch are a four-piece alternative band from Liverpool, comprising Marie (vocals), Beesh (guitar), Luke (bass), and Jonty (drums). Formed in 2025 and bound together by a shared appetite for music that pushes as hard emotionally as it does technically, the band moved quickly from early writing sessions to a fully realised sound - one built on hard-hitting arrangements, dynamic shifts, and vocals that can turn on a knife's edge between soaring melody and visceral intensity.
Drawing comparisons to Alexisonfire and Spiritbox, Dropstitch write music that sits at the intersection of aggression and emotional exposure. Their songs map uncomfortable internal landscapes - obsession, longing, the feelings most people have experienced but few admit to - and wrap them in arrangements that are physically immediate and technically precise.
Everything the band does is handled in-house. Produced and mixed by Beesh, with artwork designed by Luke, Dropstitch operates with complete creative independence. A deliberate choice that runs through every aspect of how they work.
Having already performed at Primal Live at the Invisible Wind Factory, the band have demonstrated an early ability to command a live room, and have a growing body of work written and recorded, ready to follow.
Dropstitch are a band with something to say and the craft to say it properly.
