Oskrnavitelj is an original act emerging from the Serbian black metal scene, formed in 2021 in Belgrade. Their sound is defined by cold and emotional melodies, dark and raw riffs, and a strong spirit rooted in the aesthetics of 1990s black metal. Although not strictly confined by genre boundaries, the band remains faithful to its core direction, cultivating an atmosphere that is both dark, cold, and intensely energetic.

The creative force and frontwoman of the band, Ivana Savić (Vrika), is known to audiences from her previous bands Kramp and Sakramentum. With her distinctive vocal style and authentic artistic vision, she contributes significantly to the band’s identity, setting them apart as one of the few acts in this genre led by a powerful female frontwoman. Ivana is also responsible for the band’s name, the title of their debut album, and the lyrics, which are written in Serbian. Her themes often revolve around misanthropy, darkness, blasphemy, death, evil, nature, and ancestral heritage.

Shortly after forming, the band recorded their debut album “Pradavni” at Paradox Studio. The release was soon picked up by the German label Fetzner Death Records, which brought the album to a wider audience.

Oskrnavitelj remains fully dedicated to its artistic and conceptual path. Promotional tracks are currently in preparation, further strengthening their expression, while work on a second album is already planned as the next step in the band’s evolution.
