From the ashes of Cleveland's most intimidating psychedelic rock band rises Snowblower.

A namesake long kept by regulars of the Kent party scene, Cleveland death metal band Snowblower got its official inception from the ashes of Fungits in the winter of 2025.
Spearheaded by former Fungits members Johnny Hogarth and Hyland Borkman, rallied along with John Huff and Timmy Smith, the puzzle was completed with the addition of Hunt For More's Hunter Rose and Ryder Hyduk.

A monstrous tone wall built with 3 guitars, Snowblower created its sound in the frigid cold winter snowstorms of 2025, spending every weekend packed into their studio coop based in the quiet Amish farmlands of Middlefield, Ohio, creating a sense of dread, hysteria, and anger out of a passion for partying, beer, cheese, loud fucking noise, and a seething hatred for digital guitar tones and the internet.

Raw and unfiltered, Snowblower wrote, recorded, and self-produced their first EP, a 3-song doom metal masterpiece dubbed “The Shmoovie", at their studio with limited equipment and a love-of-the-game attitude, mixed and mastered by Hyland Borkman in-house. Their all-tube wall of sound, mixed with sampling, electronica engineering, catchy melodies, and a powerful vocal duo, creates an experience like no other band can pull off, reeling you into their chamber of death and making you accept your fate every step of the way. It's an experience you simply need to see to believe.
