Solitude Within are a Belgian female fronted symphonic rock/metal band who formed in 2014 and consists of vocalist Emmelie Arents, guitarists Jean-Paul Laffargue and Quincy Van Overmeire, bassist Fré Delaey, and drummer Sabine Engelen.

In addition to electric guitars and drums, piano, string instruments and keyboards are also used and the band release music under their very own label BoxFish Records. All lyrics are written by singer Emmelie Arents, who also writes novels. Her singing is characterized by her soft, clean, practically without head voice.

Their debut album, ‘Disappear’, was released in 2017. ‘When Kingdoms Fall’ followed in 2022. The band has performed in Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Spain, Malta and the United Kingdom.
